I looked up to see the dusty road ahead showing its grand power. The tire marks were thick, black tattoos- a permanent illustration of the horrible event that seemed like ages ago. It was another warm, dry day in California. It was chaos on Highway 98 as cars began to break down one by one, due to a manufacturing error at the new car dealership in Old Town. Every one or two miles was a broken down car and its cargo waiting, asking, and pleading for a ride to the next exit. People became outraged as car after car passed them by. No one helped the lonely hitchhikers as they started to cry out and run into the road.

It is funny, yes, quite hilarious indeed, that I should find myself in a predicament like this. My natural confusion utters this strange, passive illusion, which someday, I will have to dismiss. A wall, never-ending and metal. It was always there. Watching me fall into the dirt after the leaders gave us our daily mocks and trails. Light a match, add the wood, take the fire, build it higher, let the rain fall and start again, I see the smoke rise and thin. Talk to me, reassure. what do I do anymore? The fire’s dead. I’ve given up. I’ve realized I’m not very tough. Stir the coals, add the kindling, now it looks like I am rebuilding. We all know looks can be deceiving when your thoughts float through the ceiling. The soft notes arise from a bubbly grave as my mind gathers the pieces. Cautious drops in a continuous pattern drawing in towards my heart. As my mind and heart tango with sweet whispers falling flat, my body runs towards the open world. Up hills, through rivers, flying in the cosmos. I know I need this now, the essence of beauty, serenity in this mental and physical journey upon this world. Aggitating, obnoxious, overdose, into your silent comatose. grabbed the skin onto the bone, hitched a ride and turned to stone. Boiling fire, deadly sire, each to one and ones desire. My Other Writing Blog

I have recently created a WordPress Blog that I am using for all of my major pieces that I have repeatedly edited and finalized. If anyone has a WordPress (sorry it isn't mainstream) I would love for you to follow me and I could follow you back!
